I just moved to TX and bought a house with a pool for the first time. I explained that my home inspection noted algae all over the pool and that it was in need of a good cleaning. I called advanced aquatic and explained this to them. I … More said I have kids and I just want it swim-ready by closing, and to do whatever they need to do for an initial deep cleaning because its green and rough looking.
I was assured it would be right, so I did not worry about not being here while it was being cleaned. I received the bill/paid for it, then we moved in the FOLLOWING day to find the pool was a mess. They scooped out some leaves but left all the black and rotten sticks/leaves/etc at the bottom. I did research and learned how to PROPERLY clean a pool, which I am doing now. The guy put something in to make the water blue, but as soon as we swam in it the algae swirled around and it looked like a swamp - pure GREEN water. Today I am scrubbing the algae off myself and doing the job right. As I'm doing so, the algae is swirling everywhere even more and the water is nasty. I thank them because this reminds me that if I want something done right, do it myself. His communication is great and he always includes an emailed report with all chemical levels and what was done in writing. He includes pictures of the pool before & after cleaning and on top of that lets you know when he is on the way to your house and has arrived. Stephen has been great to work with in every regard. The owner Steve was really helpful and friendly he came out and did an on-site appraisal the same day. One of his … More staff however was a little late to an appointment and left me in a pinch luckily Steve was able to come through himself and took care of it. I will most definitely be using this service again.
